Profile of Platt College

Platt College began as a private school founded in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1879. At the time of its founding it was one of the first business colleges west of the Mississippi. Since that time, many schools with the Platt name have sprung up in Western states, most notably Oklahoma, Colorado, and California. These schools are widely varied in terms of academic emphasis and program offerings. The California campuses are Platt College, San Diego and three Southern California campuses located in Los Angeles, Huntington Beach and Ontario.
