  West Hills College Coalinga

The West Hills Community College was established as a college for the Coalinga Union High School District in 1932. It is a public, two-year community college, and one of the 12 California community colleges. The Coalinga campus was built in 1932 and today offers enrollment to more than 1,000 students, while the Lemoore campus was established in 2002 and now serves more than 3,000 students every semester. In addition to these two campuses, WHC also offers classes in other centers:

  • Naval Air Station Lemoore
  • NDC Firebaugh - Library and Learning Resource Center

WHC offers a number of degrees and certificates in various Course Topics like administration of justice, art, business, biology, chemistry, computer information systems, child development, geography, health science, mathematics, liberal arts and teaching. Online courses in administration of justice, liberal arts, psychology and social science are also available through WHC.

Coalinga campus'athletic teams participate in football, basketball, volleyball, softball and rodeo. The Lemoore campus sponsors teams in soccer, golf, cross country and wrestling.
