Study at Regis University
Regis University was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1877, as a co-educational and private Roman Catholic, Jesuit university. There are 3 colleges under this university:
The Regis College is a small college offering undergraduate degrees in liberal arts as well as a masters degree in teaching. There are more than 1,000 students in this college. The Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions has a nationally-recognized nursing program, and several physical therapist programs. It has separate departments in nursing, health care ethics, health services administration and physical therapy. The College for Professional Studies caters to the working adult. There are intensive 2 month long classes and several online courses offered to benefit these students. Regis University's sports teams are called the Rangers. Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf and soccer, while the women play basketball, cross-country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball. Regis University is found in Denver, CO. Denver is a large city. Applicants to the school are attracted by its Roman Catholic identity. Regis University is a private, not-for-profit institution.
