Star Technical Institute was founded in 1979. Originally the school offered
training in the field of drafting and design. In 1983 the school expanded
through the introduction of new programs of study.
This new expansion program was designed to transform Star Technical Institute
from a single purpose, centrally located school to one that was more diverse in
course offerings and more accessible to the general population
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. To find out if you are eligible
for assistance, contact a Financial Aid Representative at the Star Technical
Institute campus you wish to attend. The representative will ask you to bring
along certain financial information. Together, you’ll assess the cost of your
education; find federal grants, loans, veterans benefits, private loans; and
make a determination how much of your costs may be covered through financial
assistance.
