Study at Florida Institute of Technology
The Florida Institute of Technology was originally established as the Brevard Engineering College in 1958. The name was changed to its present one in 1966. This private, independent technical university has its main campus in Melbourne, Florida.
The college offers a number of undergraduate and graduate degrees through the following academic divisions:

The Florida Institute of Technology– Melbourne's sports teams are known as the Panthers. The school sponsors men's teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, rowing, soccer and tennis, and women's teams in basketball, cross country, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
