Gwinnett College was founded in July, 1976, by its past president Ruby B.
Jackson, as an answer to the tremendous growth being experienced in the North
Atlanta, Georgia area and by Gwinnett County in particular. Since its founding
Gwinnett College has grown by leaps and bounds. In 2003, the college was
approved to begin offering academic associate degree programs. We now offer 11
different programs in the medical, legal, business, and massage fields.
