Oglethorpe University is a private liberal arts institute situated in Atlanta, Georgia. The history of the college dates back to 1835 when it was initially chartered in Milledgeville. In 1913, the university was re-chartered as a non-denominational institution. Oglethorpe University is based on a 100-acre campus.
