Pregraduate/Preprofessional Emphasis: Builds on the course requirements and explores specific health science arenas, such as biochemistry and immunology. The goal is to help you pursue graduate study of health care and health science, or first-professional degrees, such as the MD, DO, or OD.

Dietetics Emphasis: Applies the science of food, food production, and nutrition to help you arrive at nutritional recommendations for health promotion and disease prevention. This emphasis area also prepares you to pursue a career in the burgeoning health care fields of dietetics and nutrition.

Health and Wellness Emphasis: Explores diverse and alternative approaches to health science, incorporating the latest information in physical, mental, and spiritual health. Your coursework is practical to help you put your knowledge and skills to work in the real world.

Health Science Emphasis: Focuses on specific health science arenas, such as public health, environmental health, and health care administration. This emphasis will help you pursue a career in the health science or health care fields, or future graduate study.
