Study at University of The Cumberlands
University of the Cumberlands, also known as UC, is a private, liberal arts university located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, United States. It was originally founded as Williamsburg Institute on January 7, 1889. UC
offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in diverse Course Topics. The campus is spread across an area
of 70 acres. University of the Cumberlands sponsors several intercollegiate sports teams, which participate in the NAIA and the Mid-South Conference. Their
official mascot is the Patriot and their sports teams are nicknamed as the Patriots. They participate in sports including tennis, golf, football, basketball, swimming, baseball, soccer, track, wrestling, cross country and cheerleading. The university operates a radio station known as WCCR-LP, and a campus newspaper called ‘The Patriot’. Students attend University of The Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY, a self-contained town.
