Study at Frederick Community College
Frederick Community College was established in 1957 as an evening school. It was given the status of a college in 1970, and now offers enrollment to more than 15,000 students every year.
FCC awards associates degrees in arts, teaching, science and applied science, and certificates in over 50 different fields of study. Online courses and special classes in emergency management are also offered by the college. There are 7 academic divisions of the college:

Students of FCC participate in a variety of sports sponsored by the college. Men’s teams play baseball, basketball, golf and soccer, while the women’s teams participate in basketball, volleyball, softball, golf and soccer.
