Study at The Graduate School at
Assumption College Massachusetts
About the College:
Academics at The Graduate School at Assumption College
Our programs share a number of beneficial features for career-focused
graduate students:
an environment which fosters constant professor-student and
student-student interaction, a faculty who have a passion for their
fields and for teaching, and a proven record of success in graduating
highly-qualified professionals who are prepared to become leaders in
their fields.
The quality of our programs is no secret.
U.S. News continues to rank Assumption’s Master of Arts in
Rehabilitation Counseling as one of only 3 New England programs in the
top 50 in the nation. In its other human services programs, the Master
of Arts in Counseling Psychology clinical program has exploded in
popularity over the past 5 years and is considered one of the finest
programs in the nation by leading psychologists; the M.A. in Special
Education graduates teachers who lead their profession in using new and
innovative approaches to maximize the academic development of children.
The successful launch of our M.A. in School Counseling program has
quickly spawned an Institute for School Counseling and School Psychology
that provides innovative seminars for working school counselors. And
innovations in our MBA program have resulted in a 75% increase in
enrollments over the last two years.
Recently, 95% of our graduate students from all programs said they were
either satisfied or very satisfied with their experience.
This is a natural result of our energizing academic environment,
superior faculty who love to teach, and the college-wide emphasis on
faculty-student interaction and mentoring.
