Study at Berklee College of Music
Berklee College of Music is an independent music college located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was established in 1945 and today the college enrolls more than 3,500 students. Berklee offers an accredited four-year baccalaureate’s degree or diploma degrees in several fields of study. The campus houses the Berklee Performance Center, which is a 1,200 seat auditorium. Berklee also offers athletics for students who wish to participate in sports. The students can sign up for NCAA Division III athletics at Emerson College as Berklee has a membership in the Professional Arts Consortium. Many alumni of the college have gone on to become famous including Quincy Jones, producer; Bruce Hornsby, pianists; and John Petrucci, guitarists. Students attend Berklee in Boston, MA, a large city.
