Salter College Student Life The student experience at Salter College includes an externship, where students serve an average of three months in their chosen field of study. Externships provide hands-on experience and opportunities, which may lead to employment after graduation. Students are also afforded ready access to a Career Services Department which assists students and alumni in all aspects of job searching. The Department has implemented a Career Directions Seminar, which provides a realistic approach to searching for employment. In addition, students are scheduled for personalized sessions to finalize their job search tools and talk about their individual needs concerning employment.
