locally owned career college located in Bloomington, Minnesota. In existence
since 1936, Academy College is pleased to offer you a variety of professional
training programs in the areas of Business & Finance, Medical, Aviation,
Computer Technology, Animation and Digital Arts & Design.
Academy College offers Bachelor Degrees, Associate Degrees, and certificate
programs all geared to help you achieve your career or continuing educational
objectives. We also offer a full on-line Business Degree Program, which has
supported many busy professionals in reaching their highest potential.
Our entire faculty and staff are committed to providing you with a challenging,
intellectual environment that affords you the highest in quality instruction. We
focus on specialized, comprehensive programs, which prepare you for a
challenging, exciting, and financially rewarding career.
Additional highlights of the college are as follows:
Academy College offers day, evening, Saturday and on-line classes creating an
environment for individual attention and friendly interaction. Class sizes are
small and are taught by highly experienced instructors that retain strong ties
to their industry profession.
Computer-based classes use state-of-the-art equipment and software with ample
lab time during and beyond class hours.
Financial Aid available to those that qualify. Officers are on-site and can
assist students in completing the necessary application forms.
Graduates receive free lifetime placement assistance, refresher classes as well
as career and résumé counseling well beyond their day of graduation.
Local business professionals offer up-to-date direction to the College through a
Program Advisory Committee.
Three levels of academic programs are offered at the Academy: Bachelor of
Science degrees, Associate of Applied Science degrees and Certificates. Students
may elect to obtain their job entry skills, obtain employment, and then return
to the Academy to earn their AAS and BS degrees.

Academy College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent
Colleges and Bachelor of Science Degrees, Associate Degrees, and Certificates.
Schools to award The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is
listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of
Education. The Council for Higher Education Accreditation also recognizes its
accreditation of degree-granting institutions. The Minnesota Higher Education
Services Office licenses Academy College.
