What Does Our Surgical Technologist Program Offer You?

• Theory and practical application in the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology of the body

What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do? Upon graduation, you will be qualified to sit for the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) examination to become a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).

After passing this evaluation, you will be qualified to work as a Surgical Technologist in hospital operating rooms, delivery rooms, clinics, surgical centers and more. As a Surgical Technologist, you'll assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons and nurses or other surgical personnel. Your Allied College training will give you the expertise you need to set up operating instruments, supplies and equipment, prepare patients for surgery, assist the surgeon during surgery, and more.
