Missouri Baptist University, also known as MBU, is an evangelical Christian, liberal arts institution located in St. Louis, Missouri. It was established in 1957 as a campus extension at Tower Grove Baptist Church. It was given its present name in August 2002. The university enrolls more than 1,000 undergraduate students and over 700 graduate students each year. It offers a wide variety of degrees and programs through the following academic divisions:

MBU’s athletics department fields several men’s and women’s sports teams. They participate in sports which include baseball, basketball, soccer, and tennis. Their sports teams are nicknamed the Spartans.
