Nebraska Wesleyan University, commonly referred to as NWU, was founded by the Nebraska Methodists in 1887. This private, four-year liberal arts institute is located in Lincoln, Nebraska. NWU's recent enrollments have ben over 1,500 students every year. The 2002 edition of U.S. News

The sports teams of NWU are nicknamed the Prairie Wolves. They are members of the NCAA Division III,

and field, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
