Study at Central State University
Central State University’s history can be traced back to 1856, when Wilberforce University was founded. The Normal and Industrial Department was created as a part of Wilberforce University in 1887. It became the Central State College in 1951, and achieved university status in 1965. The university is located in Wilberforce, Ohio. It also operates a branch campus in Dayton.
Central State University offers a variety of degree programs through the following academic divisions:

- College of Business and Industry
- College of Education
The athletics department of CSU fields men’s and women’s teams in basketball, football, cross country, track and field, volleyball, tennis and golf.
