Morehead State University is a public university established in 1887. It was initially founded as the Morehead Normal School, but having gradually broadened its mission over the years, it was renamed the Morehead State University in 1968. The college enrolls over 7,000 undergraduates and more than 1,000 postgraduates every year. There are over 70 degree programs on the 2-year, 4-year and graduate levels.
