
Study at Zane State College
Zane State College, also referred to as ZSC, is a public, coeducational
technical college. It is located in Zanesville, Ohio, United States and was
established on September 19, 1969. Its initial name was Muskingum Area Technical
Institute. The college was renamed as Muskingum Area Technical College in the
year 1972, and finally as Zane State College on June 14, 2004. The college
offers associate's degrees in more than 25 technology programs.
The college campus is home to a number of students' clubs and organizations,
including Accounting Club, Culinary Arts Club, Human Service Assistant Club,
Medical Assisting Club, Physical Therapist Assistant Club and Paralegal Club.
Students also take part in various intramural sports based on their personal
preferences.
The campus of Zane State is in Zanesville, OH, which is a town not particularly
near any major cities. The school is a public institution. Degrees at Zane State
include, at the school's highest level, the Associate's degree.
