As a medical assistant, you'll deal with patients, physicians, and other health care providers on a regular basis. You?ll perform a wide range of both clinical and administrative duties. Though most medical assistants work in private practices, many also find excellent jobs in hospitals and health clinics.

Students in our associate's degree program achieve a solid foundation of academic knowledge. They also learn to perform laboratory, clinical, and medical office procedures via hands-on training from experienced professionals. This program is available both and at the Davenport Campus. Students in the program complete a clinical instruction at a clinical site and an externship program, gaining valuable on-the-job experience preferred by many employers.
